 Founded in 1700 to hold the Seri indians back and to protect the hispanic expansion. It’s original name was Santísima Trinidad del Pitic which was given by its founder, the “Alferez Juan Bautista Escalante”.

Located on the main Plaza (Plaza Zaragoza) started its construction in 1877 and finished on 1912, with great inner sceneries, neoclassical facade and Caravaca crosses on its towers and dome are a must place to visit.
